“Island Systems Planning”
The Saint Lucia Institute of Land Use Planners in collaboration with the Ministry of Physical Development, Housing and Urban Renewal will host the 5th Annual Caribbean Urban Forum (CUF5) in Castries, St. Lucia. The Caribbean Network for Urban and Land Management (CNULM) will co-host the meeting in association with our growing network of partners including Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, the Caribbean Local Economic Development Project (CARILED) and other regional and international organisations. The Forum will bring together land use practitioners, policy makers, academics and allied professionals interested in urban and land management issues within the Caribbean in an effort to further advance land use planning and urban management within the region. This year the theme is “Island System Planning” which looks at the integral role of Sustainable cities and land management in the Caribbean.
