Preparations for Caribbean Urban Forum 5: Island Systems Planning are well underway and we’re looking forward to seeing you in Saint Lucia. In addition to CUF5, there will be two workshops immediately preceding the event from 8th to 9th June in Saint Lucia.
1) Urban Planning for City Leaders Workshop (UNHabitat/CNULM)
Date: 9th June 2015
Cost: US$50 (covers lunch and light refreshments)
Venue: Bay Gardens Hotel, Saint Lucia
This is workshop is hosted by UNHabitat and the Caribbean Network for Urban and Land Management (CNULM) as part of the project Strengthening Professional Planning Capacity to Advance a Caribbean Urban Agenda. It is targeted to professionals in the field of urban planning.
2) Urban Design for energy efficient and climate resilient facilities for HEIs in SIDS (UA/UTech/CNULM)
Date: 8th – 9th June 2015
Cost: US$100 (covers the cost of lunch and light refreshments for both days)
Venue: Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, Saint Lucia
This two day workshop is hosted by the University of Antwerp, University of Technology, Jamaica and CNULM as part of the EU-ACP project Mainstreaming Energy Efficiency and Climate Change in Built Environment Training and Research in the Caribbean (CarEnTrain). The workshop is targeted to campus administration or persons involved in campus planning.
