The Caribbean Network for Urban and Land Management (CNULM), also known as blueSpace Caribbean, began in 2008.
To facilitate the relationship between people and urban areas through a collaborative multi-stakeholder approach in the effort to contribute to social equity, environmental justice and improved livelihoods in the Caribbean.
To provide a networking mechanism bringing together people, organizations, and institutions committed to enriching urban and land management processes in the Caribbean through regional dialogue, knowledge management and capacity building.
Based at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad, we work with academic institutions regional partners, national planning associations, and international agencies to achieve our vision and mission. Partners we have worked with over several projects include University of Guyana, Anton de Kom University of Suriname, University of Technology, Jamaica, University of Antwerp, University of Amsterdam, CARICOM Secretariat, Inter- American Development Bank, UNHabitat, CARILED and others.

Our Advisory Board is composed of eminent practicing professionals, who serve the double-purpose of supporting the Secretariat efforts to monitor the activities taking place the urban sector throughout the region and to provide their cumulated expertise to the Secretariat in orienting and framing their activities and projects.
